Lou Rolla begins preparations for a spectacular plot.
Lettuce and other vegetables grew very nicely this year.
The sunflowers were magnificent.
Marigolds line the path of another successful garden plot.
Yellow and orange carrots as well as parsnips make for good eatin'.
Eggplant parm anyone?
Pepper production was fantastic!
The garden yielded a cornucopia of treats.
The harvest party was an opportunity to share stories about how the growing season went.
James Belta of Belta Farms donated a very large quantity of compost to our garden. This donation went a long way toward improving the condition of our soil.
In the Spring, Shelly Kassen, our Second Selectwoman, attended our Opening Day Ceremonies. Here she is talking to Mary Ann.
