• Plots are available beginning May 1st.
• All plots must be cleared by Nov. 15th.
• Plots to be used for growing plants for non-commercial use.
• Plots to be maintained in a condition which will not interfere with abutting plots.
• The Town of Westport will be held harmless from any claim for damages or injury arising from the use of the Community Garden property.
• The Westport Community Gardens are on an elementary school property and as such the use of chemical pesticides and herbicides are prohibited by state law. Only organic gardening techniques and organic compounds my be used to control pests and weeds. Gardeners found to be using chemical pesticides or herbicides will lose gardening privileges and be subject to prosecution.
• Use of Gardens during school hours:
  Gardens are closed between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM and between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM weekdays when school is in session. (A copy of the school calendar will be included with permit.) The Parks and Recreation Department will issue a photo ID to gardeners wishing to access the property during school hours. During school hours only gardeners with a photo ID issued by the Parks and Recreation Department will be permitted on school property

I have read and will comply with all procedures and regulations for the use of the Westport Community Gardens. I will do my best to follow the Gardening Guidelines posted on this site. I will not hold the Town of Westport or its employees responsible for lost stolen or damaged property.
